Instructor: Kathy Vining kvining@dominicancaonline.com

Create a culturally responsive environment for all students. Reflect on the impact your own culture has on your instruction. Examine and learn to recognize stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination in education. Enroll in one of the following courses, EDUO9735, 9736 or 9737 to learn how to create an inclusive classroom environment for all students.

Although this course, Culture & Equity-Yours, Mine and Ours, is NOT a prerequisite for the other two courses, it does provide a foundation for them. The book titled, How to Teach Students Who Don't Look Like You, Second Edition, by Bonnie M. Davis, will be used for all three classes.
